Our main goat supplier is The Gourmet Goat Farmer, here in Wiltshire. They farm Boer goats and provide the perfect environment to allow the goats to rear their young as nature intended, browsing on natural pastures and hedgerows. The Boer goat doe is an excellent mother, and their kids thrive, suckling on their mother’s milk for as long as she feels is needed.

The Gourmet Goat Farmer believe in the importance of family unity and the security this gives the goats, creating a sense of calm and contentment throughout the herd.

When the weather turns bad, the goats have spacious, comfortable, purpose built housing in which to shelter and where they continue to eat their favourite Marlborough Downs meadow grass, now in the form of highly nutritious, sweet hay.

It’s no wonder then, that the goat meat produced by The Gourmet Goat Farmer is of the highest quality – and that is why we have them as a valued supplier.
